Welcome to Building Kidz of San Ramon! I know the tough choices you have to make when choosing a preschool for your child. Simply put, it can be overwhelming, exciting, and scary all at the same time. My own search for preschools for my three children (ages 12,10, and 4 - who are in our Pre-K program), along with my passion for performing arts inspired me to join the Building Kidz family in February 2020.
While, our location has been in business for over 30 years, we have completely upgraded the campus and curriculum. Our philosophy is to develop the "whole child". We focus on 6 key areas of development: emotional, social, cognitive, communication, physical, and academic. We create an environment where children are challenged intellectually and are engaged in an interest of lifelong learning through an academic curriculum that incorporates performing arts, all while having fun! I am honored to have the opportunity to make an impact on your child's life.

Our philosophy is to develop the “whole child”. We focus on 6 key areas of development: emotional, social, cognitive, physical, communication, and academic. We create an environment where children are challenged intellectually and are engaged in an interest of lifelong learning through intelligent integration of academics and performing arts. It is this philosophy and our preschool programs that have made us one of the top preschools and childcare services in America.
Our curriculum is a comprehensive arts-integrated learning program in which children develop skills and knowledge of numeracy, literacy, music, arts, socialization, self-regulation and control, self-efficacy, morality, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional expression.
Additionally, our children perform two shows annually: a Broadway-style production in June and a winter recital in December.

Welcome to Building Kidz School! We teach children ages 2-6 using our "whole child" creative philosophy. Our school integrates the arts into pre-kindergarten age learning focusing on six key areas of development: emotional, social, cognitive, physical, communication, and academic. Our proprietary PA curriculum fully integrates music, dance, and theater into our age appropriate development standards through classes and Broadway style productions. Our proprietary Learning Through Life Experiences curriculum complements dedicated and focused play areas to accelerate cognitive, emotional, and social development..

We are excited to bring the Building Kidz philosophy of developing the “whole child” while building confidence, commitment, and character to Tennessee. We believe that to impact a community you must impact its future generations. It is our personal goal to provide children with a safe place to learn and develop while providing parents with peace of mind in knowing their child is being well cared for.
Chris graduated from Middle Tennessee with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in mathematics. He has an extensive history in Business and Human Resources having worked in Retail Management for over 22 years. He is passionate about instilling in young people a love for learning, a love for self, and most importantly a love for others.
Ashanti has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Science from California State University Northridge and a BS in Business Administration from Lipscomb University. She also has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Her passion for working with children began when she was in High School working at a children’s after-school program. She enjoyed providing fun and engaging activities for children that fanned the flame of a lifelong love for learning.
